Whether your child has a good grasp of music or not, this class will inspire them to explore, experiment and create their own musicalal hits.  In addition to lots of hands-on computer time, they will receive an introduction to music theory and learn how to apply that in their creations. 

Objectives - In this class your child will learn basic music theory including the circle of fifths, rythms, chords and how to read music from the staff.  They will also learn how to mix pre-recorded loops to create their own unique songs.  If they prefer, they can also add their own voice over the music they have created.  

What to Bring - If your child has a midi keyboard, electric guitar or violin, we can incorporate their performance into the digital recording.  This is completely optional.  Children will be encouraged to share any equipment brought in.
